Meet the Dental Team
Beth – Practice Administrator/Treatment Plan Coordinator/Dental Hygenist
Beth studied at Johnson County Community College, where she received her Associates in Applied Science in dental hygiene. She later went on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry to get her Bachelors of Science in dental hygiene. As Treatment Plan Coordinator, Beth also meets with patients to help them understand their needs and schedule their procedures. What’s more, Beth was previously awarded the Colgate State Award and was a nominee for the YWCA Woman of Excellence award.
Beth loves spending time with her two children and her loving husband. In her free time, she also likes to attend their sporting/music events.
Mindy – Financial/Insurance Coordinator
Mindy is our scheduling coordinator. She has been in the dental field since 1998, and came to our office in 2012. You will appreciate Mindy’s kind heart and warm smile when she helps you on the phone or in person. Mindy is always happy to help answer your questions about your insurance.
In her free time, Mindy enjoys spending time mud truck racing, camping, roller skating, and spending time with her family.
Wendie – Scheduling Coordinator
Wendie is a skilled and detail-oriented team member who enjoys keeping the office running on time and helping patients get the dental care they need within their schedules. Wendie holds a BA in life science from Kansas State University, and she is a certified dental assistant. Wendie has worked in the dental field for more than a decade as an assistant and learning various aspects of dental care. She always puts patients and their comfort first and goes the extra mile to make them feel right at home. Originally from Auburn, Wendie lived in Manhattan for many years, and she and her family now call Circleville home. In July of 2018, she her husband and four children bought a farm where they now live. The family also has 7 dogs. In her free time, Wendie enjoys taking photos, baking cakes, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
Tammi – Collections Coordinator
Tammi has worked in the dental field since 2012. She joined our office in 2018, and she works with our patients to stay up to date on their accounts. She is very kind and friendly, and Tammi loves being part of a team of professionals who truly care about patients. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University. Originally from Lawrence, Tammi and her family now call Oskaloosa home. She and her husband, Mark, are the proud parents of one son who is attending Washburn University. Very family-oriented, Tammi enjoys spending time with family and friends boating, fishing, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Crystal – Registered Dental Hygienist
Crystal is a graduate of Wichita State University Dental Hygiene Program. She joined our team in 1994 and has since then worked in every area of our practice. She also has extensive training in dental sleep medicine, Invisalign, and Nomad. Crystal is passionate about helping patients understand their dental hygiene and treatment needs, and assuring a pleasant and comfortable appointment is her priority.
When she’s not helping patients receive pleasant, comfortable care, she enjoys sports, traveling, exercising, and reading.
Doug – Registered Dental Hygienist
Doug served in the United States Navy for five years. Afterwards, in 1984, he earned an Associate in Applied Science from Delmar College, and attended the University of Kansas. He has been with our office since 2003.
After hours, Doug cares for his mother and two aunts. His interests include biking, shooting pool, landscaping, record collecting, and traveling.
Taylor – Registered Dental Hygienist
Taylor graduated from Johnson County Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in dental hygiene. She joined our team shortly after in 2014. As one of our hygienists, she loves educating her patients about the health of their mouth and how it affects their overall health.
In her free time, Taylor she enjoys reading, working out, walking her dog, and spending time with her mom, dad, and brother.
Sara – Registered Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist for more than eight years, Sara is proud to help people achieve oral health and a bright smile. She is from Lawrence, KS, and attended Free State High School. Sara earned an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Johnson County Community College. She and her husband, Josh, have a young daughter and son. She loves to read science fiction and fantasy books, and enjoys all kinds of arts and crafts and spending time at the lake.
Anna – Registered Dental Hygienist
Be sure to congratulate, Anna! She graduated from Wichita State in May 2018 and is engaged to be married! As a dental hygienist, she has her assisting and NOMAD certification, and she enjoys meeting and building relationships with her patients. Originally from Hoyt, KS, Anna is from a small family. She and her fiancé are having fun planning their wedding and taking care of her two-year-old Border Collie mix.
Melinda – Registered Dental Hygienist
Melinda has been a dental hygienist for more than 30 years. She is originally from Roanoke, VA. She attended Lee-Dan’s High School in Mechanicsville, VA and then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in ECP III. Melinda and her husband of more than 30 years have three sons. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and visiting the beach to collect seashells.
Becky – Dental Assistant
Becky first entered dentistry in 1997 and has been a part of our office since 2005. In addition to being a dental assistant, she has extensive training in dental sleep medicine and is also a certified supragingival scaler.
After hours, she enjoys running and spending time with her kids.
Maria – Dental Assistant
Maria has enjoyed working in dentistry for more that 20 years because it gives her the opportunity to help people feel better. Growing up in Salina, she attended Ell-Saline High School and Pueblo Community College where she studied expanded duties and functions in dental assisting.
Maria is the proud mother of one daughter and became a grandma in February of 2017! In her spare time, she attends her nieces’ and nephews’ sports games.
Kim – Dental Assistant
For more than 31 years, Kim has been a dental assistant, interacting with patients and helping to give them back their smiles. She is originally from Emporia, KS, and attended Northern Heights High School. She attended ESU for one year and then went on to Flint Hills Area Vocational, becoming a certified dental assistant. She is also certified in CPR and supragingival scaling. Kim has a daughter and son who are twins, a granddaughter and a grandson on the way. In her free time, she loves to be outside at the pool and spending time with family and friends.
